Yes, you’ve guessed it…..primary seven also had a fantastic time during St Mary's Health Week.
The children loved taking part in the various activities including yoga, football, rugby as well as
in-class activities with PC MCColl, Nurse McAdam, Tayside Fire and Rescue Barnardos and Mrs Hamilton our dentist.

A big thank you to all the parents who supported the children, making sure that we were dressed in
their sports gear for the events. This helped the week run smoothly.
Primary seven girls showed excellent leadership skills when the planned, prepared and taught dance to the younger pupils.
The younger pupils commented on how much they enjoyed this – nearly as much as the P7s, I think!!
The highlight of the week was when Lee Wilkie, captain of Dundee
United made a special appearance to present certificates
to celebrate the pupils’ achievements.
We particularly enjoyed the overview of the week in the photograph and music slide show!
Primary 7 have all been working very hard this year in developing their social, academic and teamwork skills.
With action packed months of May and June, we are particularly looking forward to our residential trip to Dalguise….

This is a photograph of just one of the displays on our classroom wall showing our pupils artwork.

It shows some of the work we have been doing in our ‘Desert Island’ topic which covers all the
areas of the curriculum.
Here are our own "virtual" islands, complete with sets of rules that govern life on each island.

This is a really beautiful picture of a dancing scene where all the characters were designed and created by primary seven.

This is another photograph of artwork that adorns our classroom wall.
This has a more "modern" twist to its style and represents more "abstract" art.

This display shows a varied collection of our pupils art, from charity superheroes to Australian influenced designs.
It appears that their creative abilities have no bounds. We are confident that this stands them in very good
stead for all their future endeavours. What a talented bunch!
